Set Up Your Cloud Desk Phone
Most desk phones we provide come pre-configured, so setup is mostly plug-and-play. Follow these steps to connect yours.
Step-by-step
- 1
Connect the phone to your network
Plug an Ethernet cable from your network (wall jack or switch) into the phone's 'LAN' or 'Internet' port. Most phones support Power over Ethernet (PoE) and power on automatically.
- 2
Add power if needed
If your network doesn't supply PoE, connect the included power adapter. The phone's screen will light up.
- 3
Let it provision
On first boot, the phone downloads its settings automatically — this can take a few minutes and may include a restart. Don't unplug it during this step.
- 4
Confirm it's registered
When ready, the screen shows your name or extension and the time. That means it's connected and ready to make calls.
- 5
Make a test call
Dial another extension or your cell phone to confirm two-way audio works clearly.
Helpful tips
- Use the network cable and power supply we provided to avoid compatibility issues.
- If you have a computer at the same desk, plug it into the phone's 'PC' port to share one network jack.
