Poly Trio 8300 Conference Phone Quick Start
The Poly Trio 8300 brings Poly's legendary conference audio to small and huddle rooms. Here's how to set it up for clear group calls.
Step-by-step
- 1
Place it centrally
Set the Trio in the middle of the table for even microphone pickup.
- 2
Connect to the network
Connect Ethernet to the LAN port; it powers over PoE and provisions automatically.
- 3
Confirm it's ready
When the display shows the extension and time, it's registered and ready.
- 4
Run a conference call
Dial or join from the display and speak normally — the mics cover the whole table. Use Add to bring in more people.
Helpful tips
- For larger rooms, the Trio supports expansion microphones to extend coverage.
- Keep the microphone area clear of laptops and papers for the best audio.
