Poly Rove DECT Cordless Quick Start
The Poly Rove is a DECT cordless system — a base station plus handsets — so your team can take calls anywhere on-site, from the shop floor to the back office.
Step-by-step
- 1
Connect the base station
Plug the Rove base into Ethernet (PoE). It provisions automatically, just like a desk phone.
- 2
Charge the handset
Place the Rove handset in its charging cradle and let it charge fully before first use.

Register the handset
The handset pairs to the base once both are online; the screen shows the extension when ready.
- 4
Test call & check range
Dial an extension, then walk the building to confirm coverage. Add more bases for larger sites.
Helpful tips
- One base supports multiple handsets — great for warehouses, showrooms, and large offices.
- For big facilities, multiple bases create seamless roaming coverage; we can plan placement.
