Conference Phone Quick Start
A conference phone makes meetings easy. Most we provide come ready to use — here's how to set up and run a call.
Step-by-step
- 1
Place and connect it
Set the conference phone in the center of the table. Connect it to your network with the Ethernet cable; it powers on over PoE or with its adapter.
- 2
Let it start up
Allow it to provision and register, just like a desk phone. The screen shows the extension when it's ready.
- 3
Start or join a call
Dial the number or extension on the screen, or join a meeting using the meeting controls. Speak normally — the microphones pick up the whole room.
- 4
Use mute and volume
Use the mute button when you're not speaking to reduce background noise, and adjust the volume for the room.
- 5
Add participants
Use the 'Add' or 'Conference' option to bring more people into the call.
Helpful tips
- Keep the microphone area clear of papers and laptops for the best audio.
- For large rooms, expansion microphones can extend coverage — ask us.
